Rules for the
AMIGA_LC Echo Conference
Sept. 15th, 1990
*-Founder/Moderator - Gary Gulliver 1:2608/27
Co-Moderator - Doug Hart
The following Rules will apply to this Area and Failure to follow these
Rules will mean the loss of Access to this echomail base.
1. The purpose of this echo is for both beginners and advance SAS/C
(formerly known as Lattice C) programmers to discuss and share programm-
ing tips, hints, ideas, and help.
2. Discussions of other 'C' compilers may be discussed, however the msgs
MUST contain what compiler (if other then SAS/C) is being used. Failure
to do so can result in moderator intervention. "Compiler Bashing" will
NOT be tolerated!
3. No handles, profanity, flames, name calling, or other such nonsense
will be allowed in this area.
4. No sale advertisements of any kind are to posted here, there are
other proper places for their postings.
5. Talk of piracy or implied piracy, will be forbidden.
6. All source codes that are put into a msg for help, examples, etc... must
be PD and will be considered as such. So remember this if you are
working on a project, so that your idea is not "stolen". Don't post a
source code you wish to claim as your own shareware or commercial -
(meaning don't post your whole source code with a problem in hopes
someone else could fix the problem and then take a chance of someone
else using it as their own).
7. English is the official language of this echo and should only contain
as such.
8. Stay on topic, which is C Programming.
9. Each sysop will be responsible for messages posted in this echo by
his/her users or supported points. If a sysop cannot stop a user from
violating the rules of this echo, then the link to that system will
be cut.
10. A warning will be issued once here (such as please stay on topic or
move the conversation to another area) and then a netmail msg will
be sent if violated again. If the violation continues, the sysop of the
offending system will be notified and if no action is taking by the
sysop, then further steps will be taking to getting the link cut.
11. The moderator is not responsible for any messages posted here other
then the ones posted by users of his/her system and the ones posted
by him/herself.
12. Current FidoNet Policy guidelines will be followed in the event one
cannot follow this set of rules.
